ZONA 84 is a band born and based in Rosario, Argentina since 1993.

Their music is classic punk rock influenced by bands like The Clash, Ramones, SLF and Cock Sparrer

among others.

Their lyrics are as important as music and they carry a robust message, with strong sensations that

make you rethink the way we´re living our lives.

ZONA 84 has not manager or mainstream label working for them, and since 2009 they are running

their own label, Despabila Records (Wake Up Records in Spanish) releasing 3 ZONA 84 albums, a

live CD/DVD, a book, and LPs of other bands from Rosario.

The Complete Control policy is not a slogan for them, and they have developed a DIY carreer to

show that what you say and what you do must be coherent.

They are one of the biggest punk rock bands in Argentina (an absolute legend in their hometown

Rosario) and they have share shows with almost every local band including Los Violadores,

Attaque 77, Argies and Fun People, as well as many of their “heroes” like Buzzcocks, Social

Distortion, NY Dolls, Die Toten Hosen, Pennywise, CJ Ramone, Jello Biafra and MCD.

In order to celebrate the release the “20 Anniversary” album they are touring Europe for the first

time.
